Our History
Growing up in the foothills of the dramatic Colorado Rockies, my artistic sensibilities were influenced by the shifting vivid pastel colors and repeating textures of the mountain landscape surrounding me. I studied Industrial Design at Pratt Institute and graduated with a B.F.A. in Jewelry and Objects from Savannah College of Art & Design. With over 10 years of professional goldsmithing experience - working for innovative jeweler Todd Reed and trend establisher Catbird NYC, I decided to launch my company Allison Alane Jewelry Designs, Ltd. Based in Brooklyn New York, I have realized my dream of designing and producing bespoke pieces that honor my client’s desire to wear beautiful jewelry which can be passed on as a treasured connection to future generations. My love of travel brings me to some of the most fascinating cities around the world. For each new destination, I design a collection based on that city, taking my clients along for the journey. With my global collection theme, I create a personal conversation and demonstrate sensitivity to the value and history of gemstones that often contain a secret story.

Hello! I’m Allison, the creative entrepreneur behind Allison Alane Jewelry Designs, Ltd. I design and fabricate jewelry for customers who view the world as a place of adventure and connection. Early in my career, I became captivated by the transformative power of jewelry and its ability to stimulate communication, elevate experiences, and engage and inspire people across the globe.

Allison Alane offers well-crafted, durable, and sustainable recycled solid sterling silver and gold jewelry hand fabricated completely in-house. Choosing the highest standards when selecting my raw materials, I also maintain affordability and offer an ethically sourced product whenever possible. Allison Alane partners with Ethical Metalsmiths to guarantee the use of traceable stones, reclaimed diamonds and recycled metals. In practice, that means every item - from raw material to finished product - which enters and leaves the studio is made with the greatest level of creativity and care.
The Design Studio
Allison Alane creates jewelry for individuals who are ready to transition away from mass-produced pieces. My collections reflect a modern interpretation of classic design while preserving traditional goldsmithing. Time-honored techniques and the highest quality craftsmanship comprise integral requirements which guide the direction of each piece of jewelry – throughout our lifetime and for generations to come. I am inspired to preserve a person’s legacy through my art, not by following fads, but by designing and making jewelry that will endure.

Community Giving
I am deeply concerned with the impact our actions as humans have on the environment. Acknowledging jewelry fabrication utilizes materials that must be extracted from the earth, I have developed the Orchid Promise: 20% of all profits from my signature orchid designs in each collection will be donated to the nonprofit Cool Earth. This partnership will help protect the orchid rainforest habitat, as well as fight climate change. I have chosen the orchid because in their natural habitat they function as “canaries in a coal mine,” alerting scientists to the initial signs of climate breakdown and the necessity to act.
